I have been trying unsuccessfully to install imgSeekWeb, which has a
decent Web client for imgSeek version 0.85 and uses the command line
imgseekcmd which is part of the package, see here http://imgseekweb.sourceforge.net/.
).85 and 0.86 versions of imgseekcmd contain a bug, which is fixed
according to the instructions on the install page of imgSeekWeb. The
client allows the uploading of images to be compared to your
previously processed images.

It turned out I was getting 500 messages because I used a Windows
editor and environment, Microsoft Expressions 2.0, whereas my hoster's
environment is Apache-RedHat. My hoster discovered that by running
the imgSeekWeb.py through the Linux program dos2unix, the issue was
fixed.
