A. B. The skill-sets of work-study applicants are generally compared to those skill-sets needed to fulfill current work-study positions. Placement is typically made based on the recommendation of the volunteer staff and the applicant's prospective work-study supervisor, and the willingness and ability of the applicant to perform the required duties of the position at the times needed by the museum. Work-study students must be able to perform activities of daily living without assistance from OMSI staff while on duty.
