Dear IMCI members
As committed, I have uploaded the video on YouTube as a testimony of the anarchy created by the unconstitutional actions by the Chairman IMCI Delhi at the behest of IMCI HO on September 8, 2015 during the AGM of IMCI Delhi Chapter.
Please click the link below:
Seeing is believing. This is an un-edited version that will take you through the unconstitutional actions of not allowing members with long standing to participate in the AGM, the resistance against the video recording, the drama and threat of cancelling the AGM and attempted walk out by the Chairman, the apathy towards the lawful rights of the members etc.
Use a headphone for better sound clarity.
Please note that video recording of an AGM is a completely legal form in the interest of democratic practices inspired by Indian Parliament. An advance intimation of this was served to the Chairman, IMCi Delhi, earlier.
Presented for your evaluation on ethical, constitutional and professional standards.
Regards
Rajiv
Dear MembersFor all the believers in democracy, ethics, constitutional proprietory, values etc., September 8, 2015 shall go down as the blackest day in the running of IMCI Delhi. At the beginning of the AGM of the Chapter, we were informed that an email had been received from IMCI HO to prohibit three members from participating in the AGM., viz., Prof. Varun Arya, Sumit Chaudhuri and me.Varun was not present in Delhi and hence could not come for the AGM. He had already sought the leave of absence earlier. What followed was a long duration of explaining the constitution of IMCI which obviously fell to deaf ears of the Chapter Chairman who consistently kept getting the telephonic instructions from someone at Mumbai and kept announcing that Sumit and I are persona nongrata. Hence, depriving us our Constitutional right to attend and participate in the AGM.I have never been personally humiliated, insulted and threatened in life. After Dr. M B Athreya, I am the senior most member and CMC, FIMC at IMCI Delhi.Against the wishes of few people present, I have done a complete video and audio recording of the event. I am travelling till Sunday. I would upload the unedited version of video on YouTube and send you a link, if you may like to see the highhandedness of IMCI HO through the Delhi Chapter Chairman.Do find time to read the trail email also to see the dirty game of IMCI HO in insulting the constitution and thereby, insulting the intellect and professionalism of all members.RegardsRajivIMCI CONSTITUTION mandates the following

Subject: STOPPING my payment for Fellow Membership Subscription
Dear Sirs
I made a mistake of sending you the cheque by post presuming that this year things may improve.
I was wrong.
I have given the stop payment instructions to my bank.
No need to present the cheque now.
The executive council seems to be only hell bent on grinding its own axe to the detriment of the members and channelizing its energy against the democratic voice of Sumit Chaudhuri by threatening with IPC, CrPC provisions and creating grounds for the membership termination through a myopic one sided autocratic conduct.
I will release the membership fee only if I see some sanity prevailing.
I am sharing this message with other Delhi IMCI members so that they may take their independent decision.
You are at liberty to create a disciplinary action against me for raising my concern and voice.
Rajiv
