Below is a message from Betsy Rose, who announced this event at our meeting last Thursday night. It will be an evening of singing, remembrance, as well as a benefit for disaster relief in Pakistan. Hopefully you will join us.

For IMCB

Hello Everyone:

Please join us for an evening of song, silence, prayer and blessing, candlelight, sending good wishes, support—and money—to the suffering people of Pakistan. Honoring Sept 11—and the day after—when the world lit candles for us. Honoring all our work and play and passion for a peaceful world. Many peace groups are sponsoring this event—it will be a real gathering of “the tribe”. Of which you are a part!

I hope to see you and sing with you on Sunday.

Shana Tovah! Happy New Year!
And Happy Eid-al-Fitr, and the conclusion of Ramadan.
May all beings be free and safe!

Betsy

Do not just look for what you want to see,
that would be futile.
Do not look for anything,
but allow the insight to have a chance to come by itself.
That insight will help liberate you.
