My next 8-week class in
mindfulness-based stress reduction starts in Berkeley on October 18. A
free introductory class takes place two weeks prior, on Oct. 4.
I
will also be teaching a daylong class on whole body breathing in San
Francisco on Saturday, October 2. Whole body breathing is a wonderful
way of working with the breath to establish a sense of ease, relaxation,
and enjoyment -- all qualities that can help us lessen stress, steady
the mind and deepen our concentration. The class will be held at
the lovely San Francisco Buddhist Center
in San Francisco's Mission District. The day will include led
meditations, talks, and periods of Q&A. Cost is $35 for the day.
