Introduction
The purpose of this letter is to inform you -and hopefully you will
pass this on to those you know- that a few brothers and sisters have
started a room called Shia Revolution, on Pal Talk.

The main purpose of this room is to provide brothers and sisters around
the world, with interactive, educational lectures, from the comfort of
their own homes. We will be inviting prominent scholars and speakers to
the room, Insha Allah. The room will only be open during these times.
The Debate
The root of the difference between the shias and the sunni schools, is
the Wilayat of Imam Ali (as). Shias contend that Imam Ali (as) was
appointed successor by the Prophet (s) and the sunnis claim that the
Prophet (s) didn't make any such declaration. Amongst the several
proofs that we utilize from Sunni Literature to support our point of
view, is the declaration of the successorship that was made by the
Rasool (s), on the day of Ghadeer. This event is referred to as the
event of Ghadeer Khum.
Brother Abu Yaqeen, who is a specialist in this field, has agreed to
initiate this series, with a comprehensive look at the event of Ghadeer
Khum. Insha Allah, we will follow up with many such talks/lectures in
the upcoming weeks.
This lecture (which will be followed by a Q&A Session), will be held on
the upcoming Saturday, at 2:30 GMT (England Time) in the "Shia
Revolution" room in the Islam Category. As usual the room will open
half an hour prior to the start.
