         Happy Mother’s Day

 

Being a mom is one of the most challenging and rewarding jobs. This week, I was reminded how special spending time with my daughter can be as we had a really great time making “Treasured Trash.” On the other hand, I was also reminded how precious and fleeting time can be when my other daughter looked at me last weekend and said, “Mom, can we spend some special time together?” I, of course said, “Yes.” Only to be told in her next breath that she wanted to go to a playdate at a friend’s house. I guess that was her idea of “special time.” My gift to all of you, is the opportunity to spend some special time with your daughter, granddaughter, and “like a daughter” with this issue.
