Hopkins Imaging Conference: Posters, Reviewers, Registrants

Hello, All!

Reminder: The Hopkins Imaging Initiative is hosting the First Annual Hopkins Imaging Conference on October 6th, 2011, in Turner Auditorium and Concourse on the Johns Hopkins East Baltimore Campus. The speaker schedule, list of awards, and FAQs can be found on our website:

Thank you to all of the abstract authors -- we received over 100 submissions this year! The abstracts that have been accepted for our poster competition (with a first place award of $250) are listed here:

If your abstract has been accepted, you must:

- Register for the conference by October 1st: http://imaging.jhu.edu/conferences/register-for-the-conference

- Submit our Poster Confirmation Form by October 1st: http://imaging.jhu.edu/conferences/poster-confirmation-2011

- Present your poster at our Happy Hour on October 6th.

We are currently looking for more judges to review posters at the Happy Hour. If you are available to review at either one or two of our poster sessions on October 6th, please submit this form:

Also, if you would like to volunteer or help out, we'll be having a conference planning meeting tomorrow (Thursday, 2011-09-22) at 2:00pm in Sagawa Library (Traylor 616).

For those of you interested in volunteering for the conference, our Hopkins Imaging Conference Organizational meeting is on Friday at 5pm. 

For any of our events, our calendar (http://imaging.jhu.edu/calendar) will have the most up-to-date information.

Our conference website (http://imaging.jhu.edu/conferences/imaging-conference-2011) also has information about awards and answers to frequently asked questions. Let us know if you have any comments or suggestions! :)

Also: If you know anyone who has registered for the conference but has not received this email, then we probably don't have the correct email address for them. Please ask them to re-register. Thank you!
