Dear Student Group Presidents and Treasurers,
The newly elected President of your group MUST re-register your group on the new B-Engaged website. PAWS will be shutdown after this Tuesday. This means that the information on your PAWS page will be inaccesible. So please download all relevant information off of your PAWS page before this Wednesday 12:01AM. Your newly elected President must follow the instructions below.
Questions? Email E...@Binghamtonsa.org

PAWS IS MOVING
WEDNESDAY MAY 1, 2013
AND SO ARE YOU!

HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
AND
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO – NOW!

Here is what you need to KNOW:

This Wednesday PAWS moves to the B-Engaged System which will provide a single site where students can manage all their involvement at the University and in the Student Association. It will come with new features, better record keeping ability, and easier access to SA and University processes.
The annual registration of student organizations will be conducted in B-Engaged beginning Wednesday May 1, 2013 and ending 5PM on May 14, 2013.
Executive Board Positions other than President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary will not move over. You will be able to create other positions during registration but will be limited to an 8 positions total on your eboard.

Membership will move over. However, graduated members will be removed and groups are required to have a minimum of ten members.

Full instructions for re-registration will be sent to student organizations on Wednesday.

Here is what you need to DO – NOW!

Download anything you wish to keep from the PAWS system. Any pictures, text, logos, or documents on the PAWS system will be inaccessible after Tuesday!
Make sure you have a digital copy of your Constitution as most recently approved by the Rules Committee!! You will be expected to upload that constitution during the registration process.
Have your elections. All SA chartered groups are required to have their eboard elections for the coming year by MAY 1. The newly elected leader (President) of the group must complete the annual registration process and will become the new primary contact for the group.

REMEMBER, groups that fail to re-register will be considered inactive come Fall semester and may lose their charter status by the Rules Committee (now called Internal Affairs or IAC).

Some additional end of the year things you need to do:
Please be sure to empty your group mailbox by the end of the semester.
Please submit any remaining events for the Year on the PAWS system. This requirement will be upheld in the new system, and
We have 14 more free boards for Student Groups who want to have displays at Orientation. If you already have a display board, bring it to the SA office by Finals Week!
