To whomever it may concern,
We are thinking of submitting a paper in your workshop that focuses on transfer learning of Vision Transformers and CNNs. It uses ImageNet as a pretraining dataset (Your workshop topics say one as 'ImageNet as a pretraining dataset(transfer learning)' and other datasets as fine tuning dataset. Our focus is on the transfer learning capabilities of the networks and not on ImageNet as such. Is it still relevant to the workshop?

Or should we submit to the extended abstract track if it's not fully relevant to the workshop?

Also, is it alright to submit to both the tracks?

Kindly let us know.
Thank you.

Dear Durvesh,

Thank you for your interest in the workshop!

You can submit your work if the method is trained and/or evaluated on ImageNet. Additionally, we encourage papers to include at least a bit of dedicated discussion about ImageNet in your submission. This could be, for example, a discussion on the importance of ImageNet as an evaluation benchmark for your method. Ideally, we would like the accepted papers be aligned well with the overall theme of the workshop.

Please don’t hesitate to get back with further questions.

Best,
Joon
