We are excited to announce the 2011 Winter Release of ImageNet
(www.image-net.org), now totaling more than 12 million images over 17500
visual categories, ranging from activities, scenes, to objects and
people. Please check out the details at http://www.image-net.org/releases
Some highlights include:
- We have developed a brand new browsing interface, where you can not
only visualize the images within each category, but also visualize the
children categories as well;
- We provide bounding box annotations for nearly 3000 popular visual
categories (200 images per category);
- We provide annotations of 25 binary attributes (corresponding to
color, texture and shape) for 9600 images from almost 400 categories;
- We provide subversion support for easier downloading of new images.
As always, we hope that ImageNet can provide valuable data for your
research. If there is anything we could do to improve and help, please
do not hesitate to contact us at sup...@image-net.org.
Best regards,
ImageNet Team
