With iOS 11 pushing HEIC/HEIF, are there any plans to add HEIC/HEIF support to ImageGlass?

Thanks.

Hi, it seems that there is a long way to go to add HEIC/HEIF support to ImageGlass. HEIC, this iOS 11 new image format, comes with limited compatibility. That is to say, it is only accessible to iOS 11 devices as well as macOS High Sierra. Certainly, it is the reason why you cannot view and open heic images on ImageGlass without problem. If you are in emergency to deal with your heic images, you can take the aid of one powerful heic convert jpg tool, which can support batch conversion. Alternatively, one other practical way is to get help from iPhone's local support. Go for "Settings">"Camera">"Formats" and choose "High Efficiency". Meanwhile, you should go to "Settings">"Photos">Transfer to Mac or PC and choose "Automatic". This way can benefit you from both space-saving advantage and broader compatibility owing to you save images as HEIC but export it as JPG. However, note that it can be effective for the photos saved at a later time instead of the previous heic images. Hope it is of great use for you!
