Windows 7 Professional User - ImageGlass 4.5 INSTALL - *.heic image viewing

I had several *.heic images that I had hoped to convert to *.jpg format to assist in viewing data for analysis.  ImageGlass 4.5 seemed to be most compatible with the Windows 7 Professional I am still running on my machine.  After installation of the ImageGlass product, I don't see a *.heic file type for selection of the file to open.  Might that be because the *.heic format is newer than what ImageGlass 4.5 perceived as a valid file type?  If I screwed up with my selection, might/does anyone know what version of ImageGlass would recognize a *.heic and still work in the Windows 7 Professional Operating System environment?
