Opening Images From Everything Opens ImageGlass With Default Settings

If I do a search using Everything by voidtools, then double click on an image, ImageGlass opens with the default settings and default theme.

Is there some reason for that?
I have forced a rebuild of indexes in Everything, but it doesn't fix it.

A bit more information about this problem. When opening an image from within Everything, ImageGlass is using igconfig.xml, igstartup.profile and the Themes folder from the C:\Program Files\ImageGlass folder instead of the %AppData%\ImageGlass\ folder.

I am guessing that igconfig.xml, igstartup.profile and the Themes folder located in the C:\Program Files\ImageGlass folder would normally be used for a portable version, but this is NOT a portable version. It's an installed version.

A workaround for the problem is to copy igconfig.xml, igstartup.profile and the Themes folder from %AppData%\ImageGlass\ to the C:\Program Files\ImageGlass folder.

ImageGlass reads and writes config to %AppData%\ImageGlass when it does not have permission in the startup folder.
In your case, I wonder if Everything run ImageGlass as administrator

Yes, Everything runs as Administrator. Is that the reason for this problem?

Yeah, when run ImageGlass as admin, it has right to write to installed folder (c:\program files\imageglass), so it will use this folder as "Config Dir" to save:
- igconfig.xml
- themes

There is no workaround now, but I will think about it in the future
