unable to zoom using mouse scrolling

i used to be able on my previous laptop to zoom using scrolling

now the only way is by expanding 2 fingers on the mouse pad on my laptop

i have ticked all the zoom settings to scrolling in the settings but nothing happens ; scrolling works of course in my fire fox

any help is appreciated i used to love that feature

Which version of IG did you manage to do?

You can try disabling the below option

i have updated to version 8.41.22 and i am getting the same problem as above ; i did try the same solution that ou suggested ealier but it still doesnt work ; i know my scrolling mouse works on my laptop

as when i change the action on scrolling to view next picture ; the next picture works and works very fast ; when i chose zoom , nothing happens now , not evern expading it with my fingers work ; it used to be a work around before .

any help is appreciated

Hi George,

The zooming using trackpad (touchpad) will be significantly improved in v9.0 (I've been working on).
The first beta may come at the end of February.  You can check it's progress at: https://github.com/d2phap/ImageGlass/projects/11

I see you mentioned v8.4.1.22, please update it to v8.5. V8.4 has security issues and was already withdrawn. The Store release is not affected.

i have updated to 8.5  but still the same problem , i can onlyzoon now via the menu :) or using + or - signs

any work arounds ?

If you're talking about mouse wheel, you can check Mouse wheel actions in Settings > Image.

For trackpad zooming, it will be improved in v9.0.

yep i am using a laptop only for my work ; so i only have a trackpad
