Issues With Latest Version

Hi,

Firstly, thank you for creating an excellent program. I am having an issue with the latest version of ImageGlass in which while I can open the program, I can't open pictures in ImageGlass (this is .png and .jpg). I have Windows 10 Home Version 2004. Can you help me with this issue.

There is an issue we are tracking, where if the setting "Loop back viewer to first image" is ON, the first image comes up blank. Using the next/previous image will then show the first image correctly, but ONLY if there is more than one image in the folder. Try setting that option OFF (settings, image tab).

If that is not your issue [i.e. you cannot see any images at all under any circumstances] then I'd make sure you've installed the .NET Framework 4.8. [But that was a requirement for IG V8.0 too.]

After that, we'll need to try some other things (like deleting your config file, trying other image formats, dragging images into IG instead of double-clicking, etc).

Sorry, neural misfire - the setting "Loop back viewer to first image" needs to be set ON to workaround the problem.

I tried installing the x64 version and there was no issues with it with all pictures loading perfectly.

Hi,

I'm using the x64 version on Windows 10 and had the same issue.  When loading any image I got a black screen with the message "Reached the first image".

Ticking the checkbox next to 'Loop back viewer to the first image...' in Settings>Image seems to be working as a temporary fix but would be nice to enable the previous behaviour not to loop back.

Glad you got something working. 

I've tried the x86 download a couple of times now and didn't have any problems. I was on Win10, x64, but I had to use the ImageGlass portable version instead of the installer. I hope no one else has any problems!
