CPE Course Description:

All kinds of market forces mean that automation has taken over some of the traditional accountant roles and activities, so what will accountants do when they are no longer doing accounting? In this course we look at the highvalue, highmargin services that only management accountants can offer to the success of an organization and how management accountants can develop to embrace these services and become financial leaders.

Learning Objectives:

After this session, you will be able to:

  1. Recognize the importance of financial leadership in the current and future marketplace.
  2. Describe the knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) associated with financial leadership.
  3. Detail the steps management accountants should take to grow as financial leaders and valued business partners.
  4. Examine real-world scenarios and applications of successful financial leadership.
