Hi IMA-Team,

my publisher noticed a decreasing AdX-Demand for our platform and I'm currently looking for the issue. When calling the Ad-Tag via the Video-Suite-Inspector , there seems to be a higher Ad-Demand compared to calling the Tag from our platform.

A Dev-Page based on the code from the googleads-repo (VideojsIMA-Advanced-Sample) is available via https://www.netzkino.de/website/fix-NP-875-videojsima-advanced/32abe76-dev/ . A test movie is hardcoded as player source, due to geoblocking restricting video-calls otherwise.

Contrary to the advanced sample, we call dispose() when the movie page is left/closed, in order to reinitiate the player when opening another movie. For our website, we use a div-wrapper which keeps the video player in a 16:9 aspect ratio. Since I've heard that it might make a difference to set the player size via the html attributes instead of css, the player on the dev page use the fixed size equal to the code example. The utilized ad-tag is logged via console.

Any guidance or hints for something we are missing here would be highly appreciated.

Kind regards
Riva

Hi Riva,

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. Let me first start by saying that this forum is for helping people with technical implementation of the SDK. Based on the information that you have given so far it would seem that your client has the SDK properly setup as they are receiving ads. The issue appears to be though that the performance of the ads are not what they should be? If this is the case then we would suggest reaching out to our Product Support Team , as they are able to handle ad serving issues.

Also, I see that you posted a message in the videoJS forum on github . This would also be the best spot for getting help with this as we do not handle the videoJS support.
