How to define VAST version?

Hey,

In our video player, we use IMA SDK to play video ads. As we work with different versions of VAST, it is called an analytical task for which we need to determine the VAST version. Unfortunately, we did find how to define VAST version after analyzing the publicly available information.

Could you provide a tool/API to make VAST version defining possible?

Michael here from IMA SDK Team, thank you for bringing your concern to us.

The IMA SDK doesn't contain an API method that would allow you to retrieve the VAST versions. However, one workaround option is to set the VAST version as your ad description and use the IMA SDK getDescription() method to get the information. That said, we would suggest reaching out to your ad provider for further assistance on how to setup your ads.
