Pre roll Ima ad not playing before content

Hi,
I am trying to play preRoll ad in iOS.
I am requesting for pre roll ads before playing any content, during this ads get loaded but it does not get played.
if I play content first then make the pre roll ad request in the same way it is getting played.

My problem is that pre roll ads are not getting played if I am not playing any content beforehand.

Thank you for reaching out to us. I was not able to reproduce the behavior that you're seeing with the pre-roll not showing before content. I've run our pre-roll ad tag sample against our iOS BasicExample, the pre-roll was displayed as expected (see screenshot attached). Can you try running our pre-roll ad tag against your sample app?
