How can I send inner error in case of UNKNOWN_ERROR (900) to my analytics via error tracker

Hello team.

When unknown error occurs, it is very hard to identify, what is the root cause behind unknown error.

Do we have any provision in IMA SDK, which can given more insights around  UNKNOWN_ERROR?

One way, I was looking at if IMA SDK can have an ability to provide inner code information in addition to IAB error code

For example,

IAB Error code : 900 => Unknown Error

Inner code : 1010

Thank you for contacting the IMA SDK support team.

The error ”UNKNOWN_ERROR” indicates that an unexpected error occurred and the cause is not known. Refer to the inner error for more information. VAST error code 900. IMA SDK provides the possible error codes raised while loading or playing ads. The ErrorCodes are numeric values and can be in one of the following ranges:

• Standard VAST 3 compliant ad error codes use blocks below 1000.
• SDK specific error codes: 1000-1099 for high level generic errors 1100-1199 for low level generic errors 1200-1299 for video playback specific errors.

Thank you for an update, but I am looking for the macro specific to IMA error code. What I am looking at

1. Player /IMA received VAST containing error tracker - http://example.com?iaberror=[ERRORCODE]&imaerror=[IMA_ERRORCODE]
   
2. Player / IMA failed to load the ad
3. Its resulted in 900 - Unknown Error
4. IMA is having inner code with it, let say 1010
   
5. Player/IMA is replacing macros present in  VAST error tracker as follows
   
   1. [ERRORCODE] - Replaced with 900
   2. [IMA_ERRORCODE] - Replaced should be replaced with 1010
      

       So, 

      do we have any macro equlivalent to [IMA_ERRCODE] that IMA can replace with inner code?

       Benefits

1. It will give additional insights to ad server analytics around - 900 Unknown Error
2. It will help in finding the root cause.

      If [IMA_ERRCODE] is not supported can we add the support?

I will raise  this concern to the wider team, and will intimate once receive any update on this, meanwhile your patience is important. If this is blocking on a high level in your side then you can use getInnerError feature in your front end to capture sub error info and send it via rest api manually.

Thanks for an update team, but, I can't access the client side environment directly to use getInnerError method. So, it would be great if IMA SDK can replace the macro in tracker with the inner code.
