[IMA SDK IOS] add custom close button to dismiss the advertisement or player

Good Morning, 

a quick question about the iOS IMA SDK. We are using IOS IMA SDK 3.13.0
Is there a way to add a custom close button or overlay? 
We would like to provide a close button which closes the advertisement including the player. 
But it seems any custom view we are having will be finally covered by the IMA Player. 
To register friendly obstructions is no option currently as the VAST we receive is not offering 'AdVerifications'. 

interestingly on tvOS a custom advertisement overlay we add to the view hierarchy is properly displayed. But we already see the view hierachy is quite different compared to the iOS application. 

If you have any supporting advise on that matter I would be very happy.

I'm afraid that we do not have working sample apps for your use case. The recommended way of adding video controls overlay is also through OM SDK as indicated here. However, since this is not possible on your end, we would suggest to put your own logic into your code how you can achieve the same expectation without conflicting with the functionalities of the SDK. We can only give technical guidances on what is supported in our documents.
