IMA SDK for Android : Hide/ remove 'Learn more' and Ads progress from UI

Hi I am trying out the Advanced Example from github repo mentioned below, 

https://github.com/googleads/googleads-ima-android/releases

I want to remove all UI elements accept the video view for ads playback. Right now we can observe the 'Learn more' and ads progress(bottom right) displaued when ads are played. Do we have a way to not show them, I want to display my own ads controls and progress over it ?

Hi Gurveer,

I'm afraid that removal of the "Learn More" button, as well as the progress bar of the video, is currently not supported by the IMA SDK. Currently, you may only choose to remove the Ad Attribution icon, as well as the Countdown timer displayed on the ad, via setUiElements().

I have resolved this issue by creating an empty FrameLayout and passing it to AdsMediaSource like below:

FrameLayout frameLayout=new FrameLayout(context);
       AdsMediaSource  mediaSourceWithAds =
                new AdsMediaSource(
                        MediaSource,
                        this,
                        imaAdsLoader,
                        frameLayout, null, null);

Thank you for contributing to the forum, but this is not a supported workaround. I'd suggest taking a look at our ad serving guidelines.

Hiding/removing the “Learn more” button is currently not supported by the IMA SDK.  Is there a business use case for hide/removal of "Learn more"?

Custom UI integration was in beta feature and no new beta user is allowed now.
