cross origin issue between youtube.com and googleapis.com

HI,

I'm using IMA SDK HTML5.

I've seen below error :

Failed to execute 'postMessage' on 'DOMWindow' : The target www-widgetapi.js:121

origin provided ('https://www.youtube.com') does not match the recipient window's

origin ('http://imasdk.googleapis.com').

How can I get rid of it?

This isn't an error that you need to worry about, as it's not currently known to cause any issues. If you do start seeing errant behavior in conjunction with this error, please let us know.

Hi Chris,

I'm getting the same error and it seems to be breaking the video player. I'm using videojs as suggested by 'https://github.com/googleads/videojs-ima'.
I can see 'Advertisement' text appearing at the top left corner of the video but it's not playing the ad nor playing the video when I click the play button.
Do you think it's might be related to the error message?

If you're using videojs-ima, you're going to have to reach out to their GitHub Issue Tracker for support. The forum only provides support for direct IMA SDK implementations.
