Android IMA ExoPlayer extension AdsLoader

Hi,

We recently migrated to the IMA ExoPlayer extension. Our app switches between streams frequently and it's a single activity with the player loading the streams. 

In our older implementation we were told the AdsLoader should be kept as long as the app lives. But with the current IMA extension from exoplayer, we need to recreate the ads loader with...

final ImaAdsLoader imaAdsLoader = imaAdsLoaderBuilder.buildForAdTag(adTagUrl);

... on every stream load and adTagUrl. Is this desired?

Hi Adrian,

That should be fine as long as you have an AdsLoader object for the lifecycle of your stream. So yes, it would be fine if you request this on every stream load.
