[IMA SDK HTML5][Overlays] - close button, position, custom styles

Hi,
I'm in the process of implementing overlays. Overlay shows up but I don't know how to do a few things:

1. overlay position in the player window (bottom, top, left, right or custom positions)

2. overlay close button

3. custom styles, sometimes the overlay covers the subtitles and then I have to correct the overlay's styles.

Does IMA have features that can help me?

Hi Jakub,

Thank you for reaching out to us. In looking over your post, I see you are looking to gain more control over the overlay that sits on top of the videos. While this is possible to a limited extent. Most of the item's you have access to are more for the video player, as shown here . When it comes to something like the "Skip" button that is handled on the creative side, which we do not have access to or is not given to the developers.

Thanks you for response William, so what i want to do is impossible to do with IMA HTML5, right?

I have another problem, after hide overlay, IMA doesn't send event, is it normal?

Hi Jakub,

Thank you for the response. Yes, with our player it is very limited what changes you can do with the overlay. You are always allowed to use other players, but know you could run into issues. Depending on how you have the layers setup? And depending on how you are hiding the overlay? Yes it could be possible that you are turning something off in the IMA or stopping something else at the same time. Thus why you are seeing that.
