The library resolve the url as local, so //pagead2.googlesyndication.com it is resolved as file://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/etc instead of: https://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/etc

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us. Given the behavior described, the issue seems to be with your implementation. Can you provide more details such as the IMA SDK platform (HTML5, Android, iOS, tvOS or Cast) you are using? Can you also provide a screenshot and the steps to reproduce the behavior?

Regards,
Arnaud Casame

Hello,

OS: Tizen 3.0
Framework: Angular8 + Videogular2

Everything works correctly from pc and from website, but from tv not, so I think the implementation is correct.

I think the problem is that the urls are not extended, because from browser the url like //pagead2.googlesyndication.com are resolved in this way: https://pagead2.googlesyndication.com but from tizen(local web app) the url are resolved like this: file://pagead2.googlesyndication.com.

Hi,

Thank you for providing additional insights with regards to the issue. This issue seems to be with the Tizen device itself, the Tizen OS is requesting the ad module as being local while it's hosted online. This issue is not reproducible using the desktop and mobile browsers, we would recommend you to reach out to the Tizen Support Team so they can fix the issue.

Hi,

waiting for the Tizen team to answer, I have another question.

Is there a way to set up a base path to avoid the problem?

Hi Gianluca,

On the SDK stand point, there's no API method that would allow you to set a base scheme to avoid the Tizen Issue. The IMA SDK team only provides the libraries that enable you to request ads, we don't support issues that may occur in building npm packages that you can use with Webpack and other automation tools.
