Hello,

My team is rolling out companion ad support to our VASTs and noticed the IMA does not request the tracking provided via CompanionClickTracking when clicking the companion ad.

To reproduce the behavior…
2. Click the "Start Ad" button
3. Click the 300x250 Companion banner

Expected behavior…
1. The browser opens a window/tab with a location set to the URL provided in the CompanionClickThrough VAST element
2. The browser also requests the URL provided in the CompanionClickTracking VAST element.

Actual behavior...
1. The browser opens a window/tab with a location set to the URL provided in the CompanionClickThrough VAST element
2. The browser does not  request the URL provided in the CompanionClickTracking VAST element.

Here's the URL to the VAST being tested: https://krk.kargo.com/creative/vast?id=KM-CREA-146748

Let me know if you need anything else or have feedback.

Thanks, Jack.

Hi Simon,

Thank you for contacting us.

A feature request has been raised and it is currently being investigated by the engineering team. Once I get an update, I'll keep you posted on the same. I would recommend you follow our HTML5 release notes for the latest updates.

Hello and thanks for the prompt reply.
I have missed the HTML5 part. We're observing the same problem on Android.

Kind regards,
Simon
