Hi , 

I am getting below error when playing ads in Android. 

Ad Error: AdErrorCode [name: UNKNOWN_ERROR, number: 900]~~~~~~~No Ads VAST response after one or more Wrappers


I am using IMA SDK version 3.6.0 .

com.google.ads.interactivemedia.v3:interactivemedia : 3.6.0



So please let me know whats the wrong in it.

Hi,

This looks like a serving issue. I would suggest reaching out to your ad provider. Just like the error suggests, I found that when I follow your tag's wrapper links, I'm met with an empty VAST response at the end of the chain. This means there is no ad for the SDK to play.

OK. you said that you found empty VAST response but when i click on the above adtag , it gives me one wrapper tag. Please have a look below response.

Hi,

Thank you for following up. I still believe that this is a serving issue. Regardless of how the tag serves in a browser, if you play it with the SDK you can see from the network traffic that the wrapper redirects to an empty VAST response. For reference, I've attached the .har file from some tests I ran in our Basic Example. You should reach out to your serving provider for a resolution.

I would also like to recommend that you update to the latest version of the SDK (link).

Thanks for the reply. I have checked after updating the SDK to latest version but still getting the same error and also checked with Basic example https://github.com/googleads/googleads-ima-android but still getting the same error.

Hi,

I apologize if there was some confusion. That you should upgrade to the latest version of the SDK was a general suggestion. I did not mean to suggest that it would solve the wrapper error. That is a serving issue. You'll need to reach out to your serving provider for a resolution.
