I'm using Android IMA-SDK to implement the client-side ad insertion feature.

My question is about <TrackingEvents>
<TrackingEvents>
<Tracking event=”firstQuartile”>
<![CDATA[http://adserver.com/firstQuartilePixel.gif]>
</Tracking>
</TrackingEvents>

Does IMA SDK automatically send requests to the following Tracking events URLs?
- start
- firstQuartile
- midpoint
- thirdQuartile
- complete

When runing the basicexample IMA SDK, I can see the event STARTED, FIRST_QUARTILE, MIDPOINT, THIRD_QUARTILE and COMPLETED.

I am not sure if the IMA-SDK calls requests to tracking event URL.
If it does, how can I see some log abou it?
If it doesn't, is there a way to get the tracking events URL?

Thank you.

Hi ChangIL,

Thank you for contacting IMA SDK support team.

The IMA SDK automatically sends requests to the tracking events URLs. Enabling or disabling this function does not require any code changes. These requests can be observed in Charles. It is recommended that you set up Charles to monitor all network calls.

Kindly get back to you if you need any help related to IMA SDK.
