Hi,
I've encountered an issue where interrupting a skippable ad will cause playback issues with the subsequent ad. For example, a user initiates a video play and a skippable ad preroll starts to play. If the user selects a different video to play before the ad has been completed (or skipped), the new preroll does not play back correctly. The result is a request that isn't fulfilled, or the ad and content can start playing at the same time. This is reproducible in the Video Suite Inspector.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Go to Video Suite Inspector:
2) Select "VAST XML" as the Input type
3) Paste the attached vast xml (vast_sample.xml) into the input field.
4) Click "Test Ad" and observe that ad starts to play back.
5) Before the ad completes, click "Test Ad" again. The result is that the audio starts over, but no ad video is shown. After ~10 seconds the content video is visible while the ad audio continues to play.
Alternately, you can change the input type to "Vast tag" and choose the "Sample" tag, and then click "Test Ad" again. In that case, the content audio will start to play underneath the "Skip Ad" button.
Thank you,
