Hi all,

We are creating a new thread for IMA HTML5 SDK release notes. We will post here for every new SDK release that contains public changes. To limit the amount of noise on the thread, we will not post for releases where "Service Release. No new features." is the only note. Follow this thread for continuing IMA HTML5 release note updates

This thread is replacing the previous Release notes for the IMA HTML5 SDK thread.

The release notes are also available for:
- DAI: https://developers.google.com/ad-manager/dynamic-ad-insertion/sdk/html5/history

If you have any questions regarding a particular release, please post a new topic in this forum and let us know that you are using the HTML5 version of the IMA SDK. If you're experiencing an error, please also include a link to a test page where we can see the issue.

Thanks,
IMA SDK Team

  • Marks the viewMode parameter optional in the AdsManager class init() and resize() methods. The viewMode parameter has no effect and you can ignore it.
  • Fixes an issue where the ad UI failed to show when joining a livestream mid ad break.
  • Removes the deprecated ViewMode enum.
