Pod Serving + VPAID Ads

Hi there,

My repo currently uses the IMA SDK for client-side VPAID ads. Wondering if it's possible to configure to also implement pod-serving? Also curious if AdX ads can be used with pod-serving? Didn't see much info in the docs on either.

I believe your query regarding if AdX or any ad server for that matter, would be able to implement pod-serving is a question that should be raise directly to your ad provider as this is not something we handle. If in case it is possible for that ad server, then you can use all the available methods that we have for getting the ad pod information.

Thanks for getting back to me, will check with ad provider regarding Ad exchange ads.

The docs mention VPAID ads are not supported through Ad Manager DAI because they can't be transcoded, so I'm still wondering if one repo can be configured for client-side VPAID ads AND pod-serving?

Hi Scott,

Thank you for the response. In looking over this s well as some of our documentation. I would say that it might be possible to have 2 different configurations/repos. But this would depend on a lot of things, such as how your site is designed, the ad serving, and many other potential items.
