Support for TIFA on Tizen SmartTV

Dear support,

for our service, we are using the IMA SDK with Google AD Manager to deliver ads on Samsung SmartTV with Tizen OS.

We are now trying to implement support for TIFA identifier. From the IMA SDK documentation, it looks like TIFA is supported (e.g. here: https://support.google.com/admanager/answer/6238701 ).

However, when we add the requested parameters to the VAST url we pass to the IMA SDK, the "is_lat" flag is removed from the actual network request. Therefore we believe something is not working properly, since "is_lat" is mandatory.

Can you please explain how it is supposed to work? The official documentation is not providing us any clear direction.

Thank you for reporting this to us.

As per checking, the Samsung Smart TV (Tizen) is in a non-exhaustive list of additional platforms that may be compatible with IMA SDKs. This may be the reason why you're currently getting the reported behavior. Could you please provide a sample app and Charles proxy capturing the ad request via Reply to author option, so we could further check?
