Hi,

We would like to inspect whether video player is vast compliant or not, using open source VLC video player.

Referred below link, not able to understand how to use default VAST tags in our player and verify.

Looking forward to your help on VAST integration in our video player.

Rgds,
Nikita

Hi Nikita,

Were you intended to send us a link in your post? If so, I'm unable to find any, and you will probably have to resend it.

Which SDK is your inquiry for?  We don't have an official method to inspect whether a video player is VAST-compliant.  To manually verify if it is, we encourage testing our sample VAST tags in your video player.  If the player is VAST-compliant, it should be able to play and render the ad correctly, and calls all appropriate tracking URLs.  More specifically, you might want to integrate the IMA SDK into your project.  Then, pass an instance of your video player for both ad and content playback.

Let us know if you have any questions,

Hi,

We are not able to inspect whether player is VAST compliant. Can I get support integrating IMA SDK and making the player VAST-Compliant.

Hi Nikita,

Could you let us know what specific problems you are facing in making sure that your player is VAST-compliant?  Do you have trouble requesting and rendering ads?  Previously I linked you to our official documentation on getting started integrating the SDK - have you walked through it and still face issues?

Cheers,

Vu Chau
