Audio Ad with Android IMA-SDK

Hi,

I have been working with audio ad to display feature like same as video ad like

UI components (Remaining Time, Skip Button, Learn more and others)

I have used code

Flow 1. 

adsDisplayContainer = imaSdkFactory.createAudioAdDisplayContainer(context)
adsDisplayContainer.adContainer = adView?.getAdUiContainer()

with this all is working fine, but UI components are missing,

If I use this container, all works as needed except components.

Flow 2.

adsDisplayContainer = imaSdkFactory.createAdDisplayContainer()
adsDisplayContainer.adContainer = adView.getAdUiContainer() 

As of the need, it's working, but callbacks are not synced.

If I use Flow 2:  then callbacks are not synched when app is in background for audio ad.

If I use Flow 1: then callbacks are synched when app in background for audio ad.

Hi Dinesh,

Thank you for bringing this question to our attention. I was looking over our documentation here , and base on what I am seeing and within regards to what you have stated. We would suggest to use the second implementation.

Also when saying that the callbacks are not synched, can you give a bit more of a description of what you are seeing. As well as what you are expecting? We believe this is more of an affect of the audio being backgrounded and less to do with anything that you have done.

I am using 

adsDisplayContainer = imaSdkFactory.createAudioAdDisplayContainer(context)
adsDisplayContainer.adContainer = adView?.getAdUiContainer()

and this get displayed without any UI components and all AdEvents callbacks are received as ad is played no delay in any response in both case background or foreground

when using

adsDisplayContainer = imaSdkFactory.createAdDisplayContainer()
adsDisplayContainer.adContainer = adView.getAdUiContainer()

While using this container, I get to see, Ad Remaining time, which was not displayed in above container.

I get all callback when app in foreground, and no callback when app on background, once app come from background to foreground, all callbacks(AdEvents) are received at a time.

Is there any possibility to get work with second scenario having all components, and all callbacks to work as needed in foreground and background.

Google Ads Dependency: "com.google.android.gms:play-services-ads:19.1.0" 

Note: As of dependency, wont be able to update, this version is mandate for our application to work.
