Google IMA SDK Client Side Ads : vastMediaBitrate API not returning the bitrate as 0

Hi,

We are using 3.14.4 iOS Google IMA SDK, in which for one of the Ad Tag URL, vastMediaBitrate API is returning bitrate as 0 majority of the times. 

What I observed is this particular Ad Tag URL is serving different ad every time.

When I have verified with some sample ad tags mentioned here: https://developers.google.com/interactive-media-ads/docs/sdks/ios/client-side/tags, vastMediaBitrate API returned valid bitrate values.

Below are the logs printed in our sample application where it gives 0 bitrate values:

What could be the reason it returns 0 bitrate values most of the times for this particular Tag URL and any reliable way to check this ?

Hi Michael,

Attached the sample project zip files in the mentioned location.

Added VAST Tag URL's in the sample using which issue can be reproduced. You can see Bitrate is reporting as 0 with those VAST Tag URL's and attaching the screenshot where it prints 0 for your reference.

Hello Sandeep,

 

Confirming that I have received the shared sample app. However, I am yet to run this sample as there are some fixes that I am still doing on my end. For the meantime, would you be able to share the VAST Tag used in the sample directly on this thread? And/Or if possible a screenshot of the original value of the bitrate in VAST that is not being returned correctly.
