Hi Ludovico,

The macro in the IAB VAST spec is [APPNAME] or [APPBUNDLE]. For app ads, a platform-specific application identifier, bundle or package name and should not be an app store ID such as iTunes store ID. I checked the macros page from Ad Manager Forum and couldn't find [BUNDLEID]. We suggest you reach out to your ad provider to determine what they meant by that macro.

Hi Ludovico,

For better privacy I am posting your original post without the ad tag:

Hi, i have a question about video tags with the [BUNDLEID] macro.

Here's an example of the vast tag:

https://unified.adsafeprotected.com/v2/.../...?omidPartner=[OMIDPARTNER]&apiframeworks=[APIFRAMEWORKS]&bundleId=[BUNDLEID]&originalVast=https://ad.doubleclick.net/ddm/pfadx/....;sz=0x0;ord=xxxx;dc_lat=;dc_rdid=;tag_for_child_directed_treatment=;tfua=;dcmt=text/xml;dc_sdk_apis=[APIFRAMEWORKS];dc_omid_p=[OMIDPARTNER];dc_vast=3;gdpr=;gdpr_consent=;ltd=

I collected the network log from our Android and iOS applications with the client-side IMA SDK, and i found-out that the macro is not replaced. Here's the ad request from the iOS app:

https://unified.adsafeprotected.com/v2/.../...?omidPartner=Google1%2F3.276.0&apiframeworks=7,8&bundleId=[BUNDLEID]&originalVast=https://ad.doubleclick.net/ddm/pfadx/...;sz=0x0;ord=xxxx;dc_lat=;dc_rdid=;tag_for_child_directed_treatment=;tfua=;dcmt=text/xml;dc_sdk_apis=7,8;dc_omid_p=Google1%2F3.276.0;dc_vast=3;gdpr=;gdpr_consent=;ltd=

The [OMIDPARTNER] and [APIFRAMEWORKS] are automatically replaced, in this example with "Google1/3.276.0" and "7,8", but the [BUNDLEID] is not changed.
Is this the IAB VAST macro for the app store ID? Is it handled by the IMA SDK?

Thank you
