Question for VAST 4.1 support

Hi,

Recently I am researching for the end-card rendering mode of Companion Ad, which is supported in VAST 4.1. And I want to clarify few points about VAST 4.0 and 4.1 support.

For IMA HTML5 SDK, I saw the release notes of 3.271.0 noted "Adds support for VAST 4.1 macros". If this means this version only supports for the Section 6: Macros of VAST 4.1 official spec or this contains other part of VAST 4.1? And if current version support end-card rendering mode?

For iOS and Android SDK, there is no support information for VAST 4.0 or 4.1 on the release note. But in the Support and Compatibility, it noted that SDKs of all platform support all VAST 4.0 features except AdID, Mezzanine File and New VAST error codes. So I want to clarify if SDK of all platform support VAST 4.0 features except AdID, Mezzanine File and New VAST error codes?

And I want to ask if current SDK support end-card rendering mode of Companion Ad?

Hi Jimmy,

Thank you for reaching out to us. Unfortunately, we don't support the rendering mode end-card as a companion yet. However, the 4.0 standard compatibility is almost completed, there are portions of the standard that are still in the process of being implemented.

I want to ask if it is possible for current IMA SDK to display an image or a html file after linear ad, just like what rendering mode end-card can do?

Hi Jimmy,

You can use the Companion Ads feature which allows you to display an image or and html document on the screen while the video ad is playing.
