Exo Player IMA SDK frequency cap triggered on preloading

Hi Team,

I notice that preloading the ad without playing it will trigger frequency capping on Google Ads Manager. Is that a normal behaviour?

I install your sample App and I still have the frequency cap issue. I have a frequency cap set to 3 video ads every 15 minutes.

Step to reproduce 3 times:
Launch the sample app but don't press the play button.
Kill the app after 10 seconds.

I saw the VAST Tag you previously shared on another thread regarding this issue. I have tested it but wasn't able to play any ads as the VAST itself seems to return an empty response. Please confirm first with your ad provider if the VAST Tag is correctly configured.

Thank you for responding back to us. It seems that you did not received my previous response.

 

I was able to test your Ad Tag in our VSI and saw the ads when spoofing to Australia. However, I could not do this using our sample apps possibly because of geo restriction on your Ad Tag, thus, I wasn't able to replicate the issue. Would you be able to share with us a screen recording of the behavior using your VAST Tag in our sample app instead? Upon submitting the requested information, I will raise this to the rest of the team to further investigate.
