4. Enter the above vast tag and set Vpaid mode to "Insecure" 

When VpaidMode is set to Insecure:  No refererer is send with the fetch request from to our advertiser:

When set to "Enabled' or left out:

It includes the referer from tac.googlesyndication.com

Is it possible to include de referer from the origin my domain.nl?

This is intended behavior of IMA SDK. VPAID will have different access depending on how this setting is configured.

How can I make sure we can set it so the advertisers get access to the referrer? 

- VpaidMode "Enabled" will return the sdk url 

- VpaidMode "Insecure" doesn't provide the reference 

and VpaidMode "Disabled" doesn't allow to run paid

Is it an setting in the VpaidJS player / tag it self?

Any sugustion how er should load the VPAID  tag as both "VpaidMode" Enabled / Secure doesn't provide the refererer? 

Does it need to be update inside the Vpaid Player it self of somewhere else?

Also, on Safari, when setting the VPAID mode to INSECURE, what referer do you get?

I would expect the referer to "mydomain.com" same as in Google Chrome currently does

Thank you for clarifying, I had originally been looking at the ads request network call, but I now see you are looking at the POST request to 'https://shb.richaudience.com/hb/', and the referer set on that request.

I am able to reproduce the issue, where in INSECURE mode, the referer is not set on Safari.

Let me check with the team what the expected behavior is. However, since this call is handled by the ads' VPAID js, changes from IMA may be unable to fix the issue.

I was able to confirm with the team that it is the VPAID js code that needs to handle getting the referer. IMA is correctly allowing for an insecure iframe, as the VPAID works on non-Safari browsers. I would recommend reaching out to the ad provider to troubleshoot the issue.
