Liverail url showing error in dfp Vast tag

We have a client who has sent us their DFP Video Master Tags to traffic within our DFP. Within these tags, the client is using liverail as backfill inventory. The liverail url shows up in the vastadtaguri as a redirect url. For some reason, the liverail url display an error in our DFP preview:

Your creative might still serve correctly. We recommend testing on your website and on the VAST Inspector. Reason for failure: Response is not a properly structured XML document.

 

When I try the both the DFP Video Master Tag and the liverail url in the VAST Inspector, I get 'Malformed ads response received'. 

The liverail url is this: http://t4.liverail.com/?metric=msync&p=5118&s=16881

My questions are:

What is this error? What can I tell the client to do to resolve the error? Does liverail urls work as a redirect for the vastadtaguri?

Hi Kenneth,

Are you using Flash or HTML5 here? We're not able to replicate your malformed ads error, but we do see some errors depending on which version (Flash or HTML5) we test with. Could you test the tag again and let us know if you're still getting this error? If so, what browser and OS are you using?
