Hi Google team, 

I'm noticing that the IMA3 HTML5 SDK is now appending the ged parameter to the end of the http query string for a VAST request. while the endpoint should ignored the extra param (in theory) could you clarify and/or shed some light as the reason for the sdk to concatenate to the end of the URI? if you could shed some light that be great! 

example:

http://ads.<endpoint>.com/?<...params...>&ged=ta0_ve2_eb8_pt14.13.14_td14_tv1_is0_er0.0.0.0_sv2_sp1_vi0.0.640.360_vp0_ct0_vb0_vl0_vr0

Hi Jon,

This parameter is used for engagement tracking, which tracks whether the user is engaged with the page based on signals like scroll events, etc. We've had this feature in the Flash SDK for a while, but it was just recently added to the HTML5 SDK, which is why you're just seeing the parameter now.
