Exoplayer implementation of IMA without contentUri

Hi Team,

I am using Exoplayer implementation of IMA to render VAST ads in my application. I am using below reference link for the integration : 
https://developers.google.com/interactive-media-ads/docs/sdks/android/client-side/exoplayer-extension

In this approach it is mandating my to pass Content URI in order to create MediaItem object. 
But I don't want to play Content with the same object. 
How can I get rid of this problem ?
