NPE in IMA Android 3.22.2

We are getting a NPE exception reported on Firebase/GPlay (Nothing we can reproduce locally):

Fatal Exception: java.lang.NullPointerException: Attempt to invoke interface method 'com.google.ads.interactivemedia.v3.api.player.ContentProgressProvider com.google.ads.interactivemedia.v3.api.AdsRequest.getContentProgressProvider()' on a null object reference

at android.os.Looper.loop(Looper.java:181)

It was raised here https://github.com/google/ExoPlayer/issues/8447 and mentioned that next IMA version should contain the fix, but we are still seeing the crash on latest 3.22.2.

Do you have an ETA for this fix to be released?

Hi Fernando,

For Exoplayer issues you can post on their issue tracker, best on the same thread. This forum only supports native IMA SDK issues, if you can replicate this issue in our Advanced Example which is a native implementation then we can take a look at it.
