[iOS,Android] Ad attribution icon not working

When clicking the Ad attribution icon (eg. AdChoices), the ad playback stops. The icon get's a darker shade (the click was definitely detected), but the actual link is not opened. Tapping the icon again has no effect. We observed the same behaviour on both platforms and we wonder if there is something else we must do to support this.

I have a few questions for you before we can dig too deeply into the issue. Firstly, are you using IMA Client-side or DAI?

If client side, can you provide us with a sample ad request tag that returns ads showing the broken Ad-Choices Icon?

If DAI, can you provide us with stream credentials, such as Event Id or Video ID and CMS ID that will return ads showing the broken icon?

We're using the IMA client (latest version) and here is the example of such creative. Playback pauses and the ad-attribution button is darker.

Hi Simon,

Upon reviewing your VAST response, I was able to identify that your AdChoices icon does not conform to the VAST 3.0 ICON standard (see page 56 of the VAST 3.0 Standard). Our support doesn't extend to debugging VAST XML, but I recommend matching the format provided for icon clickthrough links, as seen in the VAST standard.

Hello Greg, thank you for your feedback. I agree, but current implementation is also not ideal. Would it be possible to resume the playback at least? It would also help if this was thrown as error in 

adsLoader.addAdErrorListener { ... }

I've filed a feature request on your behalf for improved error handling with regards to malformed vast icons. I don't currently have an ETA on when our ENG team may address that issue, but please keep an eye on our release notes for upcoming versions.
