HTML5 Video ads - Getting Started (...again)

Hi Everybody,

I'm tasked with building an ad campaign of video ads, not straight video ads, but HTML5 ads with video in them. I know Google Web Designer is an option (which I'm entertaining), but I'm used to using Animate or coding from scratch with Greensock (GSAP).

So I'm trying to find some basic examples of HTML5 ad content with video, preferably with Enabler component/ad tags required to communicate with Google's system.

I built these ads just under 2 years ago, but I don't remember where I even found the lines of code I made it with:

I'm looking for the API and samples for browser-based video ads similar to these. If somebody could help me connect the dots and get started again where left off with this sort of ad building I'd be thrilled.

I don't have a lot of time and could resort to using GWD, but I'd like the ability to code my own if possible.
