Android IMA SDK playAd(),pauseAd(),stopAd() method parameters sometimes return null resulting in crash

I'm using kotlin to implement the VideoAdPlayer method and some users are getting this error:

Fatal Exception: java.lang.NullPointerException: Parameter specified as non-null is null: method com.xxx.IMAAdapter.pauseAd, parameter adMediaInfo.

Please note that It’s always advisable to use the latest version to prevent conflicts, so ensure you’ve integrated the most recent version.

I have run the Google sample application in kotlin with the mentioned version and it has been executed multiple times without encountering any null-related crashes. As kotlin enforces null safety, meaning if you declare a parameter as non-nullable, Kotlin will throw an exception if it receives a null value.

Can you please send us the below details for further investigation:

• Steps to reproduce the crash
• Confirm if the crash occurs in our Google AdvancedExample 
• Sample project reproducing the issue.
