[Android IMA SDK] When an ad pod with 2 ads and only return 1 ad, the player is stuck

Android IMA SDK version: 3.11.3

ExoPlayer version: 2.11.4

Issue:

When configured the ad pod with 2 ads (ie 2 pre-roll ads) and the second ad returns no ad (an empty VAST response). The player is stuck when completed playing the first ad, There is no ad error or log to get out of it. Based on the debug logs, it fired a "third_quartile" event and that's it.

Expected result:

- It should fire a "COMPLETE" ad event after the 1st ad is completed

- The client should be able to continue playing the actual content

Thank you for raising your concern to the IMA SDK forum support.

I'd like to inform you that the Android SDK version 3.11.3 has already been deprecated on 9/3/2020, more information here: https://developers.google.com/interactive-media-ads/docs/sdks/android/client-side/deprecation.

With that being said, can you confirm if the issue is also reproducible using our latest Android SDK version 3.30.1? If yes, for us to investigate your concern further, kindly share the following information privately:

Vast ad tags used
Sample project implementation or if the issue is encountered using one of our sample app[https://developers.google.com/interactive-media-ads/docs/sdks/android/client-side/download], please specify.
Steps to reproduce the issue
Screen recording of when you encountered the issue.
