iOS 14/Safari blocking ima js library?

We have received numerous reports that the clients failed to load ima3.js in iOS 14/Safari causing the ads not showing on their browsers.

Is there anyone else facing this problem? Is Apple blocking this library on purpose?

• Sample app or live page where this issue occurred
• VAST ad tag (if client-side) or AssetKey / Content and Video IDs (if DAI)
• If possible a sample project file so we can debug the issue on our end

Hi there,

Thank you for sharing the information privately. I’ve tested the VAST ad tag you shared against our Video Suite Inspector but I kept getting an ad error message: “Ad Error 1009: The VAST response document is empty”. Could you kindly share another VAST ad tag with valid VAST response so we can continue our investigation?
